Comprehensive Care That Honors Those Who Served
At BAYADA, we believe veterans deserve more than our gratitude—they deserve exceptional care, unwavering respect, and meaningful recognition. Our Salute to Service program provides comprehensive support at every stage of the health journey, from personal care and skilled home health to compassionate hospice complemented by offerings designed to meet a veteran’s unique needs.
Salute to Service is led by Ally O’Neal, a veteran and BAYADA’s National Director of Veteran Affairs. We guide veterans and their families through VA systems and resources, helping them access the benefits and coverage they’ve earned. Our team advocates ensure every veteran receives the care and support they deserve.
Specialized Clinical Care
All BAYADA clinicians serving veterans complete mandatory PsychArmor training to ensure they understand and address the unique cultural needs of veterans.
Care is tailored for each veteran, with clinicians trained to recognize and respond to service-related conditions and challenges.
A military history checklist is used during initial assessments to inform care planning based on each veteran’s service background.
Interdisciplinary teams regularly discuss veteran pain management, mental health, benefits, and related needs to provide coordinated, holistic support.
BAYADA’s clinical approach goes beyond We Honor Veterans by embedding military cultural competence and best practices into every stage of care.
